Tough love

There are often moments in our tying when we intentionally torment the body in strenuous, uncomfortable and even painful positions. Do you sometimes ask yourself why are you attracted to this type of semenawa? Unless you are sadistic/masochistic you need to have a reason go through such ordeal. We believe for most us the reason is a journey that rigger and model take together. Feel each other. And even if you are not lovers, there is a special bond. We call it tough love.

Rough ropes

Being rough is not always just about pain and violence. This hands-on class explores all but gentle energies you can put into your ropes. You will learn useful tricks to make your ropes more rough.

Pre-requisites

This workshop is intended for advanced riggers and rope bottoms with good experience in suspensions. We recommend this workshop for those who have completed a level 1 workshop covering basic Naka ryu ties and suspension with us or others. Both riggers and models should have good experience with ties like lacing, Futomomo, Mermaid and Monoblock (Basket tie).

Bring with you

Participants need to bring at least 12 ropes.
