Workshop Objectification and Exposure

Objectification in tying does not have to be just an unintentional inability of the rigger to connect with their partner, nor does it have to be aimed at transforming the partner into a thing, piece of a furniture or even a sexual object. Depersonalization can lead to surrender without necessarily dissociating. And in its effect, it can deepen the connection between partners.

For the rope-bottoms, objectification brings unique feelings of stopping time, emotions suspended, a change in state of existence. It allows riggers to shape and mold the body of the rope-bottom. To create a beautiful masterpiece for the pleasure of the eye and the excitement of the mind.

Exposure is close to objectification. It brings similar feelings. They may or may not go hand in hand.  It allows the viewer to stop, stand back and enjoy the full beauty of the exposed partner.

If the preceding words are close to your heart, come learn the tools for objectification and exposure.
